Heirs Insurance, Heirs Life are Sponsoring African Creative Industry with $30,000 Fund: What you Need to Apply

The African creative space is the real deal right now, creating buzz around the world with major awards and recognitions thereby putting the continent on the world map.

As a continent, we can leverage this positive buzz to showcase our talent, our hard work, our drive and determination, and change the negative perception about Africa.

To further display Africa’s creative and entrepreneurial excellence, digital insurance companies Heirs Insurance and Heirs Life are sponsoring the Tony Elumelu Storytellers Fund. Both companies are on are on mission to democratize the insurance industry in Nigeria by providing simple, quick, reliable, and accessible products to individuals, governments agencies and corporate businesses.

This fund will award grants to emerging artists and storytellers whose work shines a light on entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship in Africa.
The focus of the “Tony Elumelu Storytellers Fund” is to reward talents in the creative space, amplify entrepreneurial stories and provide a platform for young talents to reach a global audience.

Some Important things to note about the Tony Elumelu Storytellers Fund are:
This fund is sponsored by Heirs Insurance and Heirs Life
It is open to journalists, filmmakers, content producers, visual and performing artists.
Projects must amplify entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship in Africa.

Applicants must be aged between 18 and 35 years, living on the continent or in the Diaspora.
They must have a platform or portfolio of work that shines the light on entrepreneurship in Africa.
Funding between $500 – $2000 to each selected applicant.
The Fund is open for applications on the Africa No Filter website with a closing date of 29 July 2022.
